UCLA Black Alumni is headed to Brazil in 2009!

FAST FACTS:

• August 7-15th  (We may leave on the 8th to secure better pricing!)
• $3,500 for land and air (from LAX)
• $2,500 for land and flights within Brazil (for those of you who have frequent flier miles!)
• $500 Deposit due by September 30, 2008
• $375 monthly payments from October - May 2009

Note:  The price can go down if we secure at least 50 people.   This is a loose estimate until we secure deposits.    We priced it a bit higher to ensure that we don't have to secure additional funds later.  We are trying to account for higher gas prices. 

Where are we Going in Brazil?

• (3) three days in Rio De Janeiro
• (3) three days in the Amazon
• (3) three days in Salvador

Rates include: 

• 75% of your meals
• All the tours included in the intinerary (subject to change until we get all reservations)
• Flight from LAX to Rio
• Flight from Rio to the Amazon
• Flight from the Amazaon to Salvador
• Based on double occupancy.  
• Get your own room by paying an additional $700

Rates do NOT include:

• Additional optional tours that you may want to take as an individual
• Departure tax that needs to be paid at airport
• Tips to bellman or maid service

Notes:

We are unable to secure a hard date or price until we secure deposits from interested people.   We have padded the price a bit to accomodate for gas increases, etc.   Once we secure deposits, we will confirm the itinerary for everyone participating. 

Refunds:

Deposits are non-refundable.   Please check your calendars prior to making a commitment.
